Bright by Three is dedicated to empowering parents of children aged 0-3 to be the first and most influential teacher in their children’s lives. With research-based materials delivered in person and via digital technologies, BB3 is working to ensure every Colorado child has a bright beginning.

Development and Special Events Volunteer 

The development team is responsible for raising the funds that run Bright by Three and allow us to make such a big difference for Colorado kids! We do this through fundraising events, cultivating private and corporate donor relationships, writing grants, and putting our best foot forward with the general public. If you have an interest in learning more or getting involved with any of these areas, we want to hear from you! We need people like you to help us with running registration, getting auction items, doing donor research and stakeholder communication.

Required skills and qualifications: Personable, Self-motivated, Detail oriented, Computer skills,   


Administrative Assistant and Data Entry Volunteer

Bright by Three is seeking volunteers interested in doing data entry, call center training and basic clerical projects for the office. Volunteers will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date and clean information in our database about our parents and caregivers by using computer softwares as well as different projects like organizing files, and doing partners and volunteer research for the organization. You will use salesforce and call fire to help us with data entry and customer service calls and will get guidance from the Program team to complete any project.


Required skills:
Detail-oriented, basic computer skills, some in-kind donation experience can help, personable.

Community Ambassador 

Our Community Outreach Volunteers help us build our presence in the community by responding to requests from community organizations and by representing Bright by Three at different events.

During community events, our volunteers share our program with parents and caregivers in various areas of Colorado. This position offers opportunities for networking with other organizations and establishing partnerships as well as practicing your public speaking techniques and most importantly help us reach out to more families across the state!

Areas of Responsibility
Gathering appropriate materials for the community event from the Bright by Three main office
Setting up a Bright by Three display table at the event
Telling people who approach the table about how they can receive free Bright by Three materials
Networking with other organizations at the event

Holding on-site visits (when applicable)
Providing a report about the event upon completion

Required Skills: Basic computer skills, love for children, Spanish-language skills a plus

Home and Group Visitor

This individual will help increase confidence in parents and caregivers, as well as help children to have a bright beginning and a better chance of graduating from high school by visiting families and delivering Bright by Three training materials in a one-on-one setting.
Home and group visitors are responsible for coordinating visits with parents and/or caregivers of children aged 0-3 as requested by Bright by Three office.  Volunteers will visit with families to deliver our program and will explain to them how our materials can enrich their young child’s learning experience. Depending on the volunteers availability, they can help us run Group visits in Denver, Larimer and Boulder counties to present our materials in a group setting.

Required skills:
Detail-oriented, personable, outgoing, early childhood education experience is a plus, spanish is a plus.
