“How are the Children?” call-ins from your home or office on Wednesdays every other month. Learn the latest news in early childhood education from Bright Beginnings stakeholders and thought leaders.
When the Masai of Kenya greet each other, they gauge the state of affairs by asking one another, “Kasserian ingera?” which translates as “How are the children?” in English. In Masai culture, the well-being of the children is a barometer for the well-being of the community as a whole. Drawing inspiration from this question and recognizing the centrality of children to Colorado’s vitality and future, Bright Beginnings is launching a new series of “How Are the Children?” calls. Convened every other month, these lunchtime discussions feature community leaders and champions who join us to share insights on the latest developments in Colorado’s early childhood landscape and the related impact on children.
We’ll kick off on May 21 with Colorado State Senator Mike Johnston!
